Great reporting as always Ioan. The Biden Administration is “The Administraion of Half Measures.” There is a lack of foundation and decision making. I can appreciate the situation is fluid and has gotten worse, but that doesn’t excuse the lack of cohesive policy. It is a failure to not consider cartel related violence as equal to the suffering of those in Venuzuela. I think the Biden Administraion would also be wise to spend funds education folks with PSA’s in what these refugees are, people fleeing suffering. By not doing this, they help feed into the racist Republican trope that these folks are criminals and rapists. At the very least, the Administration has a moral obligation to help Mexico to help house and feed these folks in a humane manner.
